The KPR-77 was Korg's answer to the TR-606 drum machine. Like the 606, the KPR-77 is an analog machine. Its sounds include bass, snare drum, two toms, open and closed Charlestons, accent and cymbal/lap (switchable). The level of each drum sound can be mixed individually using the sliders.
Korg Volca Drum
Digital drum machine with a 6-part structure on 2 layers. The term "digital" generally refers to sounds based on a bass drum, snare drum or cymbal sampled by PCM, but the volca drum creates its drum sounds by analog modeling powered by DSP. Oscillator waveforms such as sine wave, sawtooth wave and noise are provided. By applying various changes to these waveforms, you can create a wide variety of percussion sounds that are not limited to percussion alone. The six parts each have two layers and do not impose rules or restrictions such as specifying which parts should be used for the bass drum or cymbal; all parts have the same specifications. You can freely assign your new sounds to these six parts without being limited by the conventions of a drum set. A kit consists of the six parts you have assigned plus the resonator effect settings of the waveform, and 16 kits can be stored in memory (the factory settings contain 10 preloaded kits).
Korg Volca Kick
The ultimate kick is no longer a myth. The Volca Kick is an analog drum machine capable of generating powerful and bass loaded kicks. Equipped with the original MS-20 filter, this module will give you access to a wide range of bass drum sounds. A simple and powerful sequencer. From the Electribe series, the sequencer that equips the Volca Kick allows you to create powerful bass drum sequences on the fly and in no time. A feature that will enhance your creativity and possibilities during your live performances.
The power of analog rhythms? Yes, but not only that.
The Volca Beat is a rhythm box that includes six 100% analog sounds (kick, snare, bass tom, high tom, closed charley, open charley) as well as some PCM samples (clave, clap, agogo and crash) to bring even more relief to your rhythmic patterns and, by extension, to your creations.
